Nutritional Snack Applications

URC® pieces are the ideal inclusion for nutritional snack bars. With an excellent fruit flavour and soft texture, they deliver a real fruit ‘hit’. Designed specifically for cereal, muesli, granola and fruit bar applications, URC® ensures absolute performance.


URC® Pastes:
To suit your end application, URC® fruit pastes are available in three formats:


Biscuit & Bakery Applications

URC® Pieces:
URC® fruit pieces are bake stable and can be used as inclusions in breads, muffins, scones, bagels, biscuits, cookies, bakery mixes and in many other baked goods.

In the higher moisture bakery environments such as bread, the fruit pieces will absorb moisture to become spots of soft fruit bursting with flavour. Conversely, in dry moisture environments such as biscuits and toast, the low water activity of the pieces ensures they retain their soft texture without spoiling the base product.


Cereal Applications

URC® Pieces and Flakes:
The low water activity of the URC® fruit pieces and flakes makes them ideal for breakfast cereal, ensuring the fruit pieces remain soft, even in very low moisture cereals.

Further more, URC® pieces and flakes contain no Sulphur Dioxide (SO2).


Confectionery Applications
URC® Pieces:
To add that element of ‘fruit fun’ to chocolate and confectionery concepts, Taura offers a range of URC® fruit pieces with flavour profiles designed specifically for sweet applications.

URC® Pastes:
URC® fruit pastes deliver real fruit into your confection, providing a fruit claim with the added benefit of a ‘real fruit burst’.
