URC® Pieces:
URC® fruit pieces are bake stable and can be used as inclusions in breads, muffins, scones, bagels, biscuits, cookies, bakery mixes and in many other baked goods.
In the higher moisture bakery environments such as bread, the fruit pieces will absorb moisture to become spots of soft fruit bursting with flavour. Conversely, in dry moisture environments such as biscuits and toast, the low water activity of the pieces ensures they retain their soft texture without spoiling the base product.
