URC® Pieces & Flakes

The extensive range of fruits and dice sizes provides a unique snack bar ingredient solution.

URC® fruit bar ingredients are an innovative way to add popular and exotic fruits to your snack bar products – even fruits that are traditionally difficult to use such as pomegranate, acai berries and kiwifruit. Use as a top layer sprinkle or within the bar as a fruit burst in every mouthful.
 


URC® Pastes

URC® pastes have been specially designed for co-extruded cereal bars and wafers. The flexible product formulation allows for customization of fruit content, texture, viscosity, ingredient listing and functionality.

To suit your end application, URC® fruit pastes are available in four formats:
  • Sheeting: URC® sheeting pastes are designed to form visible, non-sticky fruit layers in snack bars.
  • Blending:  URC® ‘fruit only’ blending pastes are a great way to add a portion of fruit to your products and can be used as natural sugar replacer. Suitable applications also include whole fruit bars and confectionery.
  • Filling: URC® fruit bar filling pastes are bake-stable with ultra low water activity to eliminate moisture transfer in finished products. Ideal as a fruit fill for nutritious and healthy baked bar applications.
  • Filling Ultra Dry: Designed for dry and crisp environments such as cereal pillows and wafer concepts, this paste formulation enables soft fruit fillings with crunchy outer coatings and layers.
